Apple trees are small to medium in size, measuring up to 10m in height. Clusters of attractive pink/white flowers in May/June are followed by green or red fruits useful for dessert or culinary purposes.

Early fruiting varieties, bear fruit in September and October, and  late varieties, produce apples in November. The early fruiting varieties do not store well  while late-fruiting apples may be stored to eat over winter.

Apple trees benefit from growing in a sheltered, sunny spot, where the blossom will attract the greatest variety of pollinators and where the sun will ripen the fruit. Mulch annually and water in dry spells.

Most of our current stock is bare-root (b/r), but potted options may be available on request.
