Photinia x fraseri “Pink Marble”

This evergreen cultivar is believed to be a sport of ‘Red Robin’. It has variegated cream and green leaves, which when they first emerge are flushed in pinky red, so overall the effect is very colourful. It makes a fine stand-alone specimen and as it is quite tolerant of hard pruning. It also works well as an informal hedge. This hardy shrub grows in full sun or partial shade, in most fertile, well-drained soils. It is average to fast growing up to 5m height and 2m spread, and produces white flowers April-May
